Adventures await at Alabama State Parks! From egg hunts to guided hikes, Mother's Day, and more, we're ready to welcome you. Enjoy the longer days and beautiful weather, disconnect from distractions and celebrate through outdoor activities. Whether you're here for a day or a stay, we've got something for everyone!
Chewacla State Park - Who said Easter egg hunts are just for kids? Join the Golden Egg Hunt at Chewacla State Park on April 17 and 18, 2025. Find a golden egg and bring it to the front gatehouse to redeem for a prize! One egg per person per day. Learn more: https://tinyurl.com/4azpj4h6
Ready for more egg hunting fun? Join us again on April 19, 2025, and bring your family and friends! We'll start the Easter egg hunt at 2:00 p.m. around the Chewacla State Park Nature Center. Registration is preferred but not required. Learn more: https://tinyurl.com/4azpj4h6
Gulf State Park - There's still time to participate! Until April 19, 2025, park staff will hide prize-filled golden eggs within the boundaries of Gulf State Park for lucky guests to find and redeem prizes. Search for eggs that can be exchanged for fun treasures ranging from park merchandise to the grand prize of a two-night stay at the Lodge with breakfast for two and a VIP Guided Hike in the park! DeSoto State Park - Join us on April 20, 2025, for our Easter buffet at the historic Mountain Inn Restaurant. Enjoy a buffet that will be served from 11:30 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. for only $18.95 per person!
