On Tuesday, April 29, the John Lennon Educational Tour Bus will pull up in front of City Hall, and you're invited to step inside. From 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., take a free tour of this one-of-a-kind mobile recording studio, created by Yoko Ono in memory of her late husband and Beatles legen, John Lennon. This isn't just a bus, but it's a launchpad for creativity, where students and Grammy-winning artists have gathered to write, record and bring ideas to life.
And what's a great tour without great food?
Starting at 11 a.m. on April 29, food trucks will line up outside City Hall at 710 20th St. North o serve up some of your favorite eats. So, come hungry for inspiration and for lunch.
The bus will be at City Hall and then head to UAB the next day for hands-on music and media sessions with Birmingham students through The GRAMMY Museum's GRAMMY In The Schools Program.
