Event Notice: A History of Music in Alabama and Huntsville

What:

The University of Alabama in Huntsville (UAH) will host "A History of Music in Alabama and Huntsville" in partnership with the City of Huntsville's Music Office and Downtown Huntsville, Inc. This event will feature local historian William Hampton and Huntsville Music Board member Codie Gopher, who will delve into the rich music history of the area and highlight the contributions of the black community. Performances by the UAH Chamber Choir and piano student Avery St. Julian will also be part of the program. UAH is a part of The University of Alabama System.

Tuesday, Feb. 25 at 6 p.m.

Where:

UAH Campus: Charger Union Theater
