February 3, 2025 - WASHINGTON, D.C. – Congressman Robert Aderholt is pleased to announce the nomination of several outstanding young men and women from Alabama's 4th Congressional District to the United States Military Academies. These students have demonstrated exceptional academic, athletic, and leadership capabilities, making them well-suited for the rigorous demands of a military education and service.
The nominees, their respective academies, hometowns, high schools, and parents are as follows:
Caroline Johnston was nominated for the United States Naval Academy. Her hometown is Buhl and she was Home Schooled. Her parents are Stephen and Susan Johnston
David "Carson" Hyche was nominated for the United States Naval Academy. His hometown is Jasper and he attends Jasper High School. His parents are David and Cynthia Hyche.
Natalie McCabe was nominated for the United States Naval Academy. Her hometown is Tuscumbia, and she attends Muscle Shoals High School. Her parents are Trip and Jill McCabe.
Tom Luther was nominated for the United States Naval Academy. His hometown is Crossville, and his school is Crossville High School. His parents are Gary and Carla Luther.
Richard "James" Hyche was nominated for the United States Military Academy (West Point. His hometown is Union Grove, and he attended Arab High School. His parents are Jason and Brandy Hyche.
Brink Hutto is nominated for United States Naval Academy. His hometown is Tuscaloosa, and his school is University Church Christian Academy. His parents are Brent and Teresa Hutto.
Caleb Price is nominated for the United States Naval Academy. Hos hometown is Florence, and he attends Florence High School. His parents are BJ and Elaine Price.
Richard Dean "Trey" Rutledge, III was nominated for the United States Air Force Academy. His hometown is Albertville, and he attends Plainview High School. His father is Richard Rutledge, II
Cameron Wright was nominated for the United States Military Academy (West Point). Her hometown is Crane Hill. His school is Alabama School of Cyber Technology and Engineering. Her mother is Peggy Lee Wright.
