Petition To Cancel "Mint Mobile's Explicitly Premium Wireless" Ad

January 16, 2025 - NORTHPORT, AL - Canadian born actor, Ryan Reynolds, stars in Mint Mobile's "Explicitly Premium Wireless" advertisement. An advertisement that is in many ways simplistic by modern advertising standards. As it basically features Ryan Reynolds doing nothing but standing in place in front of a green background with "Mint mobile" featured behind him in white letters. However, as the title of the advertisement suggests, it is explicit. And the commercial features Ryan Reynolds using variations of the "F"-bomb at least seven times all throughout the thirty-three second ad. While technically the "F"-bomb is bleeped out to keep the actual word from being heard by viewers, it is done in a fashion that makes it clearly known to anybody who sees the ad what is actually being said. And because of this nonchalant use of profanity at the front and center of the advertisement, One Million Moms is asking people to sign their petition urging Mint Mobile to cancel this profanity laced commercial, immediately.

A division of the American Family Association, OneMillionMoms.com was begun to give concerned mothers and parents a voice with the decision-makers of the entertainment media. Billing themselves as the most powerful tool conservative parents have to stand against the immorality, violence, vulgarity, and profanity the entertainment media seem determined to throw at one's children, OneMillionMoms.com charges no fee to join. With the main membership requirement being that as a member, members agree to participate in at least one project a week. And despite the title, membership is open to all with singles being welcome.
