Alabama is incredibly fortunate to have U.S. Senator Tommy Tuberville appointed to three crucial subcommittees on the Senate Armed Services Committee: Strategic Forces, Emerging Threats and Capabilities, and Personnel. Additionally, Dannelly Field in Montgomery houses the esteemed 187th Fighter Wing, which is one of only two Air National Guard units in the country equipped with the cutting-edge F-35 aircraft. In Mobile, Austal USA continues to advance naval capabilities by constructing Independence-class Littoral Combat Ships, reinforcing Alabama’s pivotal role in maritime defense.
