Tuberville says that Congress can help Trump undo burdensome Biden regulations

January 28, 2025 – former President Joseph R. Biden Jr. (D) added over 90,000 pages of new regulations to the Federal Register. Almost to Biden's last days in office, teams of far left activists embedded in federal agencies were writing volumes of new regulations – many of which have not even gone into effect yet – that will cost the economy over a $trillion adding an enormous burden to farmers, schools, businesses, power companies, car manufacturers, home builders etc.

The Alabama Gazette asked U.S. Senator Tommy Tuberville (R-Alabama) what, if anything, the Congress can do to help restored President Donald J. Trump (R) overturn or modify the more onerous of these regulations or if it will take four years for Trump to implement his deregulation.

"I will tell you what's been going on in Mar-O-Lago you have had team down there going through step by step about everything the Biden administration has been doing both legally and not legally," said Sen. Tuberville. "Every day they have been in office some of these young people behind the scenes have."

Tuberville said that the Trump team has been formulating a plan to undo the regulatory mess that Biden has inflicted on the country and that it won't take four years to implement.

"We all saw the Supreme Court's decision better known as the Chevron decision saying bureacrats can't be doing this," explained Tuberville. "They can't be making up their own rules. That's whats been happening the last four years."

Tuberville said that the Biden regulation were written, "By these radical people on the left and it will go out the door very quickly."

Tuberville said that he and the other Senators and Congressmembers close to the President have already been thinking about this problem.

"We have brought that up with the President after the election and even before the election," said Tuberville.

Tuberville said that President Trump wants to get the federal government, "Out of the lives of the American people as much as he possibly can" while Biden and the Democrats have done, "Just the opposite. They have tried to control what the American people are doing."

Congressman Gary Palmer (R-AL06) recently told Fox News Digital that Biden's regulations will add over a trillion dollars a year to the economy if allowed to go into full effect greatly increasing inflation and making it harder for American goods to compete in the global economy.

President Trump has already tackled some of these issues with a flurry of executive orders during his first week in office.
