January 15, 2025 - WASHINGTON, D.C. - Congressman Robert Aderholt is honored to again lead the House Appropriations Subcommittee on Labor, Health and Human Services, Education, and Related Agencies. He will also serve on the Defense and Agriculture Subcommittees.
"I'm honored to continue to serve on the House Appropriations Committee and to continue to chair the Labor, Health and Human Services, Education, and Related Agencies Subcommittee," said Congressman Aderholt. "As chairman of the subcommittee responsible for the largest non-defense spending in the annual discretionary budget, I will remain dedicated to scrutinizing expenditures and eliminating waste within the subcommittee's jurisdiction."
Congressman Aderholt also extended a warm welcome to fellow Alabamian, Congressman Dale Strong, as a new member of the Appropriations Committee. "I also want to welcome my Alabama colleague Rep. Dale Strong to the Appropriations Committee. I know he will be a great asset, especially in his role on the Commerce, Justice and Science Subcommittee," he added.
Congressman Aderholt's leadership ensures a vigilant approach to the allocation of federal resources, promoting accountability and efficiency in government spending.
