Alabama Gazette staff has mixed results on November 9 games

November 9, 2020 – MONTGOMERY, AL. – the Alabama Gazette staff was divided on the Georgia and Ole Miss, South Carolina and Vanderbilt, and Alabama and LSU games. Sam was the only member of the panel to pick all six of the weeks games correctly. Some of us apparently underestimated Lane Kiffin and Ole Miss because they clearly were the better team that day. Alabama thoroughly dominated LSU in a game that we all thought would have been close. Brandon and Christopher made the mistake of picking LSU. Auburn had the week off to prepare for ULM.

These were the SEC games of the week:

Florida at Texas – Texas won 17 to 49

Alabama at LSU – Alabama won 42 to 13

Georgia at Ole Mis – 10 to 28

South Carolina at Vanderbilt – South Carolina 28 to 7

Mississippi State at Tennessee – Tennessee 14 to 33

Oklahoma at Missouri – Missouri won 28 to 30

The Alabama Gazette panel includes Brandon Moseley, Luisa Reyes, Perry O. Hooper Jr., Sam Adams, Christopher Peeks, and Harry Still III.

Brandon correctly picked Texas to beat Florida, South Carolina to beat Vanderbilt, Tennessee to beat Mississippi State, and Missouri to beat Oklahoma. Brandon wrongly picked Georgia to beat Ole Miss, LSU to beat Alabama. Brandon was 4 and 2 on the week. Brandon is 79 and 22 on the season.
