The people's voice of reason

HEADS EXPLODE

Trump won. By now, everybody knows about it but at the same time, many refuse to accept. It has been interesting to see the left and how they cannot deal with it. To be honest, back in 2020, many on the right lost their minds as well but the left’s approach from celebrities, colleges and universities, and all the way to the media has been beautiful. What has become plainly obvious is that our society has largely become a bunch of babies who when they do not get their way, they react through temper tantrums. “Hey, what was that sound?” “Oh, just

another head exploding.”

At Georgetown University’s McCourt School of Public Policy, students were given milk and cookies, coloring books and Legos to play with to help ease the crushing news of the Trump victory. At Harvard, some classes were cancelled, attendance in some was optional, and work assignments were extended in order “to process the election results.” (And I thought things were bad at the University of Tennessee after my “Black Man Fever” skit during Reese Week back in 1982) The University of Puget Sound in Washington initiated a week of “self-care” that included among other things a “walkable labyrinth with calming lights and music” or an arts and crafts corner. While several professors at Michigan State also cancelled classes, Virginia Tech provided therapy dogs, more arts and crafts and “guided stretching.”

Yet many of these students are supposed to our future elite. The super smart and educated future royalty of America yet they cannot handle simple reality without melting down like the petulant little children many of them are. Are any of these kids who are in need of this level of coddling even remotely prepared to “storm the beaches” or help defend this country in

any measurable way? I would argue that many, not all by any means, but many Universities are failing to prepare this generation for reality. Time will tell.

What is even more interesting, dare I say “disturbing,” has been the media’s reaction to the Trump victory. I have never seen so much finger pointing in my life. It’s Trump’s fault. It’s Kamala’s fault. It is the fault of young White men. Young White women. No it is the fault of misogynistic Hispanic men. No, it is the fault of those Black men, me included, who dared step

off the plantation and not vote lock step with millions of other lemmings. Admittedly, there is no hope for me since I stepped off a lifetime ago with my vote for Ronald Regan. But as I have been called several times while writing this column, I am nothing more than an Uncle Tom. I wear that badge proudly if it means that I have been labeled that by so many people who couldn’t even score a single point on their SAT or ACT except for perhaps getting their name correct. If

being an Uncle Tom means you jump off the cliff with everyone else, bye Felicia.

But the press is more than culpable in this saga. But it is evident that they will never accept any responsibility for their actions or inactions. In true narcissistic fashion, they admit no wrongdoing. Hmmmm.

- They saw Biden’s mental decline years ago and said nothing. If it was brought up, they silenced anybody who dared mention the obvious.

- They allowed Kamala to continue the charade of Biden’s mental competence. They refused to call her out when she refused to say she noticed anything even after being in close contact with him every day. Hello, the entire planet saw it and made fun of Biden.

- They said nothing about the Kamala installment as the presidential nominee and the bypassing of the democratic election process.

- They said nothing about the Biden administration flying illegal immigrants into our cities.

- They lied about the border patrol “whipping” people.

- They covered up the complete mess at the border and willfully ignored true numbers of illegals allowed into the country under Biden and Harris.

- They downplayed and mocked the takeover of apartments in Aurora, CO by illegals.

- They continue to downplay crime by illegals.

- They ignored the Chinese spy balloon.

- They minimized the travesty during the Afghanistan withdrawal.

- They continued to give Trump overwhelming negative coverage while giving Harris overwhelming positive coverage.

- They shamelessly promoted the insane lies and accusations that Trump was like Hitler. That Trump was a fascist. That Trump was a racist.

- They did little to tone down their own fascist rhetoric after the two assassination attempts onTrump.

The list goes on. The press has a lot to do with Harris’ loss. They are fully culpable.

Had they been honest three years ago, they could have put pressure on Biden, actually talked about the 25th Amendment, and actually had an honest primary. I am pretty sure, had that happened, Harris would never would have survived to be the nominee. No way. But the bottom line is this. Why did Kamala Harris lose? Because she was a crappy nominee. Simple. It wasn’t her sex. It wasn’t her race. It was simply that she was a horrible candidate. She was a woman who could never answer a straight question and filled the airwaves with her word salad

soliloquies. The Democrats could have picked a worse candidate I assume, but they chose her.

Remember, back in 2020, she was the first candidate out of the race. People did not like her then and obviously, a significant number do not like her now. As a person she may actually be a nice woman, as the leader of this great country, not a chance.

For me, the biggest issue was always the border. I believe everything else hinges upon that. With no border, we have no country and no security. With no border security, nothing else really matters. The American people saw that Harris administration would have allowed millions of more illegals into the U.S. They said, “No thanks.” With our country being threatened by illegal gangs, let’s wait and see what the current administration is going to do. The next administration is going to have a full plate and there is no way that I believe Harris was up

to the task of handling it. Time will tell.
