Alabama Gazette has mixed results in SEC week 9

October 26, 2024 – the Alabama Gazette football panel was divided by the games this week and by the results we were right to be divided. Auburn had by far their most complete game of the season thus far and gained their first Southeastern Conference win when they defeated Kentucky. Alabama bounced back from a disappointing trip to Knoxville with a stellar performance at home against Missouri.

The SEC games of the week were:

Ole Miss at Oklahoma – Ole Miss won 26 to 14

Arkansas at Mississippi State – Arkansas won 58 to 25

Missouri at Alabama – Alabama won 0 to 34

Auburn at Kentucky – Auburn won 24 to 10

Texas at Vanderbilt – Texas won 27 to 24

LSU at Texas A&M – Texas A&M won 23 to 38

The Alabama Gazette football panel are Brandon Moseley, Luisa Reyes, Sam Adams, Christopher Peeks, Perry O. Hooper Jr. and Harry Still III.

Brandon Moseley correctly picked Ole Miss over Oklahoma, Arkansas over Mississippi State, and Texas over Vanderbilt. Brandon wrongly picked Missouri over Alabama, Kentucky over Auburn, and LSU over Texas A&M. Brandon went 3 and 3 on the week. Brandon is 69 and 19 on the season.

Luisa correctly picked Arkansas, Alabama. Luisa was wrong picking Oklahoma, Kentucky., Vanderbilt, and LSU. Luisa was 2 and 4 on the week. Luisa is 68 and 22 on the season.

Perry correctly picked Ole Miss, Alabama, Auburn, Texas, and Texas A&M. Perry was wrong on Mississippi State. Perry was 5 and 1 on the week. Perry is 65 and 23 on the season.

Sam correctly picked Ole Miss, Alabama, Auburn, and Texas. Sam was wrong on Mississippi State and LSU. Sam went 4 and 2 on the week. Sam is 50 and 17 on the season.

Christopher was correct picking Ole Miss, Arkansas, Texas, and Texas A&M. Christopher was wrong on Missouri and Kentucky. Christopher was 4 and 2 on the week and 70 and 18 on the season.

Harry correctly picked Ole Miss, Arkansas, Auburn, and Texas. Harry was wrong on Missouri and LSU. Harry was 4 and 2 on the week and 55 and 17 on the season.
