A Tranquil Path to the Presidency
October 26, 2024 - No candidate in American political history received a more tranquil path to Pennsylvania Avenue than Vice President Kamala Harris. Her, me, and those of you reading this have one thing in common. In the last two presidential elections, we got the same number of votes in the Democratic primaries: zero. Despite no mandate from the electorate, she is promoted by the party hierarchy.
*The Unearned Advantage*
Gerald Ford did not have it this easy. As long as the world’s oldest profession, every place of employment, at some time or another, hires “that guy.” You know, the one whose dad is golfing buddies with the general manager. The same unqualified dropout living in his parent’s basements the boss slaps on the back, bequeathing him the top accounts? Did that type of nepotism not enrage you?
*Biden’s Reluctant Endorsement*
That kind of favoritism would cause anyone to seethe. So, how do you think Joe Biden felt? Do you think he wants to see her win? Or any candidate, for that matter, after being forced out? No, that’s why he endorsed her. Obama and the rest of the Democratic leadership surmised their scheme infallible.
*Obama’s Strategic Support*
With Joe out of the way, they would have a short vetting process, hand-picking the best candidates to defeat Trump. “If you think so,” Biden responded in defiance when he “Trumped” Obama’s plan, pardon the pun. His actions of late are further evidence that he is torpedoing their “coup,” stating her integral part of every decision he has made.
*The Clinton Factor*

I wonder about the tone of the conversation between the Clintons when they heard the news. When examining Bill Clinton’s political career, no other candidate participated in as many bruising contests as he did. Now factor in the two epic battles Hillary endured. They fought tooth, and nail. Do you think the 42 nd president, as well as, the former First Lady deep down are rooting against the Kamala Harris campaign? The Clinton’s commitment to the Democratic ticket leaves something to be desired. Stone cold silence best describes Hillary’s response. Bill’s comments in Georgia regarding the tragic murder of Lankin Riley, characterized as putting his foot in his mouth, is defined by another word. Sabotage. Nothing can convince me otherwise.
In conclusion DEI Vice President Harris was subjected to relentless attack from Republicans after receiving the nomination. GOP leadership ridiculed her as the DEI candidate. Readers can draw their own conclusions about the accuracy of the term when applied to Kamala. A better description is the words My friend, El Miller, put to the acronym offering a perfect textbook definition of Kamala Harris’s career. Didn’t Earn It.
