The people's voice of reason
As we approach the coming election, it is imperative for every Christian, along with our Jewish brethren, to take a principled stance. We are not simply casting a vote; we are making a statement about who we are, our values, and the future we desire for our children, grandchildren, and our nation. The upcoming election is not merely a political battle; it is a moral and spiritual struggle for the heart and soul of America. It is time for us to step forward in defense of the Judeo-Christian values that have been the foundation of our country, values that are under relentless attack by a progressive agenda that seeks to tear down what God has built.
The Democrats’ progressive movement today is pushing an agenda that stands directly opposed to the teachings of Jesus Christ and the values shared by both the Christian and Jewish faiths. They have made the expansion of abortion rights their cornerstone,
fighting to end the sanctity of life even to the point of birth. The Bible tells us, "Before I formed thee in the belly, I knew thee" (Jeremiah 1:5). How, then, can we, as believers, stay silent while innocent lives are taken under the guise of "choice" This is not just about one policy or issue—it is about whether we stand up for the teachings of our faith or allow ourselves to be complicit in a movement that embraces moral decay and turns its back on God. This is why I urge every Christian and Jew to vote in this election for the Republican Party and Donald Trump. We need leaders who will honor life, defend our religious freedoms, and work to ensure that America remains a nation under God. One of the most significant actions President Trump took was to move the U.S. Embassy to Jerusalem, recognizing it as Israel's rightful capital. This was a courageous and profoundly biblical political move, honoring God's covenant with the Jewish people.
For decades, politicians have promised to do this, but only Donald Trump has the conviction to follow through. This decision strengthened the bond between America and Israel and stood as a testament to the respect for the Judeo-Christian values underpinning both nations.
The progressive agenda goes well beyond abortion. It seeks to redefine marriage and family in ways that contradict Scripture. It pushes for gender ideologies that defy the created order as designed by God. It aims to remove the role of faith from our schools, public squares, and even our very homes. This agenda wants to silence pastors and intimidate believers who dare to live out their faith publicly. The teachings of Jesus remind us to "Render unto Caesar what is Caesar’s, and to God what is God’s" (Mark 12:17). In this great nation, our votes are part of what we render unto Caesar—a way we influence our government while never losing sight of our ultimate allegiance to God. To my fellow believers: our votes have never been more crucial. The stakes are high.
This is not about party loyalty but loyalty to the sacred values, the beliefs that anchor our hearts, and the God who calls us to be salt and light in a dark world. As a devout Christian, I see clearly that the Republican platform and its candidates, led by Donald J. Trump, stand closer to these values than any other option. They support the sanctity of life, protect religious liberty, and uphold the right of parents to raise their children according to their faith.
Let us be inspired by the prophet Nehemiah, who, when confronted by the ruin of Jerusalem, took it upon himself to rebuild the wall. He faced opposition, ridicule, and threats but did not give up. He prayed to God and did the work. Like Nehemiah, we are called to take action—to do the work God has placed before us. In this case, it means voting, praying, and standing firm.
If we stay silent and do nothing, we are abdicating our responsibility to be witnesses for God in our nation. Edmund Burke once said, "The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing." We cannot allow the voices that oppose our faith to dominate. We must rise, speak up, and be counted. As believers, we cannot afford to sit out this election. Too much is at stake—our freedom to worship, live according to our conscience and speak the truth without fear.
To our Jewish brothers and sisters, your history has shown the importance of resilience and the price of complacency. The great leaders of Israel fought to preserve their people, their land, and their faith. Today, we are in a similar struggle. Together, Christians and Jews must act with courage and conviction. We must support leaders who align with our values and recognize God's centrality in our lives and our nation. Let us pray, let us vote, and let us trust God for the outcome. It is He who appoints leaders and He who works all things for good. We must do our part as faithful servants, casting our ballots not out of fear or anger but out of a deep love for our country and a desire to see it continue to reflect God’s will. Let us remember the words of the Apostle Paul in Galatians 6:9: "And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.”
We are at a crossroads. The direction we choose now will determine whether we remain one nation under God or drift further into chaos and immorality. Stand with the values that honor God, and let us make our voices heard. On election day, may we all do what is right in the eyes of the Lord. Vote Republican and protect the values that made this nation great.
