Ole Miss losing shocks Alabama Gazette Panel

The Alabama Gazette college football panel had a relatively good week picking Southeastern Conference games in week 5. Kentucky beating Ole Miss did shake the panel up a good bit – only Sam Adams had that one right. Alabama over Georgia was the game of the week and it came down to the last minute. Unfortunately Auburn's descent into the abyss has become accepted so most of the panel had predicted Oklahoma's victory over Auburn.

The SEC games of week 5 were:

Kentucky won at Ole Miss 20 to 17

Arkansas lost at Texas A&M 17 to 21

Oklahoma defeated Auburn 27 to 21

Mississippi State lost at Texas 15 to 35

Georgia lost at Alabama 34 to 41

South Alabama fell at LSU 10 to 42

The Alabama Gazette panel are Brandon Moseley, Luisa Reyes, Perry O Hooper Jr, Christopher Peeks, Harry Still III, and Sam Adams.

Brandon Moseley wrongly picked Ole Miss over Kentucky. Brandon correctly picked Texas A&M over Arkansas, Oklahoma over Auburn, Texas over Mississippi State, Alabama over Georgia, and LSU over South Alabama. Brandon was 5 and 1 on the week. Brandon is 53 and 8 on the season.

Harry Still III picked Ole Miss, Texas A&M, Oklahoma, Texas, Georgia, and LSU. Harry was 4 and 2 on the week. Harry is 37 and 8 on the season.

Luisa picked Ole Miss, Texas A&M, Alabama, Texas, Oklahoma and LSU. Luisa was 5 and 1 on the week. Luisa is 50 and 11 on the season.

Perry picked Ole Miss, Texas A&M, Auburn, Texas, Alabama, and LSU. Perry was 4 and 2 on the week. Perry is 49 and 12 on the year.

Christopher picked Ole Miss, Arkansas, Oklahoma, Texas, Alabama, and LSU. Christopher was 4 and 2 on the week. Christopher is 52 and 9 on the season.

Sam picked Kentucky, Texas &M, Auburn, Texas, the University of Alabama, and LSU. Sam was 5 and 1 on the week. Sam is 31 and 9 on the season.

Harry Still picked Florida, Kentucky, Auburn, LSU, Missouri, South Carolina, Texas A&M, Oklahoma, Ole Miss, and Texas. He missed on the Arkansas v. Auburn and Tennessee v. Oklahoma games to finish 9 and 2 for the week. Harry is 33 and 6 for the season
