Alabama Gazette writers pick the week six SEC games

We have now reached week six of the Southeastern Conference season and we are starting to see who has a legitimate team that can compete for a berth in the playoffs and which teams are just fighting for six or seven wins and a bowl game in Birmingham or Nashville at the end of the season.

The week six SEC games are:

Missouri at Texas A&M

Auburn at Georgia

Alabama at Vanderbilt

Tennessee at Arkansas

Ole Miss at South Carolina

UCF at Florida

The Alabama Gazette panel consists of: Brandon Moseley, Sam Adams, Luisa Reyes, Harry Still III, Christopher Peeks, and Perry O. Hooper Jr.

Brandon picked Missouri to beat Texas A&M, Georgia to handle a struggling Auburn, Alabama over Vanderbilt, Tennessee over Arkansas, Ole Miss over South Carolina, and the University of Central Florida over the Florida Gators.

Sam picked Texas A&M, Georgia, the University of Alabama, Tennessee, Ole Miss, and Florida.

Luisa said that, "Missouri is overrated and it is at home for Texas A&M, so Texas A&M will win, but it will be a squeaker."

"It is not going to be pretty for Auburn," predicted Luisa. "The bulldogs will join the Haitians in eating the cats and Georgia will win big time."

"Not even close," said Luisa. "It might be a slow start, but Alabama will roll right over Vanderbilt. Definitely Alabama."

"Tennessee beats Arkansas by three touchdowns," said Luisa.

Luisa is picking Ole Miss.

"It is a tossup believe it or not, but, Florida will win," Luisa concluded.

Harry picked Texas A&M, Georgia, Alabama, Tennessee, South Carolina, and Florida.

Christopher picked: Missouri, Georgia, Alabama, Arkansas, Ole Miss, and Florida.

Perry is predicting Missouri, Georgia, Alabama, Tennessee, South Carolina, and UCF.
