When Words Become Bullets: The Left's Role in Escalating Attacks on Conservatives

Once again, we see the devastating consequences of the reckless and irresponsible rhetoric perpetuated by our mainstream media. For years, they’ve painted conservatives, Republicans, and especially President Trump, as existential threats to democracy. Is it any wonder, then, that radicalized individuals are taking matters into their own hands and resorting to violence? These repeated attempts on President Trump’s life aren't happening in a vacuum. They’re fueled by a media apparatus that consistently vilifies him and anyone who dares to support him.

The media’s continuous demonization of President Trump and conservative voices has led to a dangerous climate where violence is seen as is a justified response. They’re not reporting the news; they’re manufacturing outrage when you push this kind of extreme rhetoric.

As Eric Trump speaking to Suan Hannity rightfully pointed out the hatred from the media, the utter contempt they have for my father and his supporters, is fueling this violence. It’s no longer just political, it’s personal. "My father is running out of lives here" and he questioned how many more assassination attempts might target the Republican nominee ahead of the 2024 US Presidential Elections.

Ryan Wesley Routh the suspect in the crime was a big Ukraine supporter and it appears that he was influenced by the media vilifying President Trump’s foreign policy positions—particularly his stance on Ukraine—as aligned with America's enemies.

If this kind of reckless media behavior doesn’t stop, we are going to see more violence, more division, and more attempts to silence conservative voices by force. The media needs to take responsibility for the role they play in fostering this dangerous atmosphere.

America is incredibly thankful for the Good Samaritan who courageously took pictures of the suspect fleeing to his car, capturing vital evidence that included the man's license plate, allowing law enforcement to track him down and make a swift arrest. This kind of civilian bravery is truly commendable, and without it, the situation could have escalated further. However, it is absolutely unacceptable that the Secret Service failed to detect a man stationed just 300 yards away, armed with a high-powered rifle—an AK-47 with a scope—plotting to assassinate President Trump. How did this happen under their watch? Questions must be answered about how such a dangerous individual was able to get so close to the former president without being noticed. That said, we are immensely grateful to the one Secret Service agent who, in a critical moment, spotted the threat and took immediate action. His vigilance likely prevented a tragedy, but this incident highlights the urgent need for answers and accountability in protecting our leaders from these dangerous threats.

I agree whole heartedly with Representative Elise Stefanik who stated, “How was an assassin allowed to get this close to President Trump again?” We must have a thorough investigation into how these attacks continue to happen. I commend Governor Ron DeSantis for directing Florida into conducting their own investigation into this incident as we know that Merrick Garland will do everything in his power to sweep the details concerning the shooter’s motivations under the rug.

Let’s be clear: the left’s reckless rhetoric and unrelenting demonization of conservatives are fanning the flames of violence in this country. They’ve spent years labeling President Trump and his supporters as existential threats to democracy, all while turning a blind eye to the real threat—political violence driven by their own inflammatory narratives. The radical left, through their allies in the media, have cultivated an atmosphere where attacks on conservatives are not just tolerated, but tacitly

encouraged. Their refusal to denounce this escalating violence, while continuing to stoke fear and division, is both dangerous and disgraceful. If they truly cared about democracy, they would start by condemning these violent actions unequivocally, instead of perpetuating the toxic climate that breeds them. Enough is enough—Americans deserve better than a left-wing machine that seems more interested in silencing opposition than upholding the values of our republic.
