Tuberville said that FEMA and the Biden-Harris administration "does not know how to prepare for anything"

October 8, 2024 – WASHINGTON, D.C. – U.S. Senator Tommy Tuberville (R-Alabama) says that the Biden-Harris Administration's FEMA is "Worried more about diversity, equity, inclusion, and climate change than they are helping the people of North Carolina, South Carolina, and Georgia."

Tuberville made these comments when he joined Larry Kudlow's program on the Fox Business Network with guest host David Asman to discuss the Biden-Harris administration's FEMA response. Critics of the Administration's FEMA response has accused the administration with having a slow response to victims of Hurricane Helene.

Secretary of Homeland Security Alejandro Mayorkas said, "We are meeting the immediate needs with the money that we have. We are expecting another hurricane hitting. We do not have the funds. FEMA does not have the funds to make it through the season."

"People are dying because FEMA is more worried about diversity, equity, and inclusion and climate change than they are helping the people in North Carolina, South Carolina, and Georgia," said Sen. Tuberville. "These people have no clue about organization and taking care of the people they are paid to take care of. They need to get off their tales and get to work."

Republicans have accused the Biden-Harris Administration of diverting funds from FEMA's emergency assistance program to aid immigrants that the Biden administration has been importing into the country.

"If they need the money we will pass it for them; but unfortunately, they have wasted $20 billion coming in for the last four years and that has caused more of a disaster than anything else," said Tuberville. "This administration has no clue what they are doing."'

They don't know how to prepare for anything. Let's go back to North Carolina. First of all, it is not about money in North Carolina the first few days. It is about security. People on the ground like military to help find people, doing the things to get communications into the area of North Carolina. They heard zero from FEMA from about five or six days. It was a disaster and it continues to be a disaster. There are more people still missing."

Tuberville said that the Biden-Harris administration has spent relief funds on resettling migrants in this country.

"They have been spending billions of dollars on illegals coming across the border much more than they care for the veterans, the homeless, or people that live in the country," Tuberville said.

Tuberville said that the Biden-Harris administration has been flooding the country with migrants to influence the November 5 election.

"They want votes to get re-elected to carry power on for another four years and Heaven help us if that happens," Tuberville said.

The White House is denying that they raided the FEMA relief funds.

White House spokesperson Karine Jeane-Pierre said recently, "Biden did not take FEMA relief money to use on migrants."

There is a previous clip from 2022 where Jeane-Pierre said that those moneys were being diverted to migrant relief.
