Congressman Robert B. Aderholt Welcomes Constellium's State-of-the-Art Casting Center in Muscle Shoals, Alabama

Today, Constellium announced a new project to construct a state-of-the-art casting center right here in Alabama's 4th Congressional District. This casting center will significantly increase Constellium's ability to convert recycled scrap aluminum into rolling ingot.

The casting center will also play an important role in providing aluminum products that will contribute to both national security and the safeguarding of our critical infrastructure sectors.

Congressman Robert B. Aderholt (AL-04) said about the project, "Constellium continues to show that Alabama is the premier destination for industry to plant their roots. This state-of-the-art casting center will play a vital role in creating aluminum ingots that will then be used in a variety of important ways throughout our nation and around the world.

With so many threats to the United States throughout the world, it is good to know companies such as Constellium are willing to partner with the federal government to produce material that is needed to keep our soldiers safe oversees and protect vital infrastructure here at home.
