The people's voice of reason
Late on Monday night, a teary-eyed President Joseph R. Biden (D) spoke to the Democratic National Convention just four weeks after former Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi (D-California) and other Democratic elites forced Biden to end his bid for a second term in the White House. Democrats chose to replace their nominee not just because Biden – age 81 – is suffering from cognitive decline, but also because of the scandals swirling around the President and his family. Earlier in that day, House Republicans moved forward with impeachment proceedings against Biden alleging involvement in his family's lucrative influence peddling racket. Congressman Robert Aderholt (R-Haleyville) said that the evidence of that is clear.
"The evidence has become clear of the influence peddling associated with the Biden family," said Congressman Aderholt on the social media platform X. "Remember in 2020 when we were told basically that there was nothing to see here, it's just foreign misinformation? Today, we are releasing our report on the impeachment inquiry of President Joe Biden, finding he committed impeachable offenses."
The House Republicans wrote that, "The evidence produced by our impeachment inquiry is the strongest case for impeachment of a sitting president the House of Representatives has ever investigated."
"Americans now know Joe Biden was 'the brand' the Bidens sold around the world to enrich the Biden family, and Joe Biden knew of, benefitted from, and participated in his family's influence peddling schemes," the House Republicans wrote. "Our report details evidence to establish President Biden abused his office and violated his oaths of office as Vice President by engaging in a conspiracy to peddle influence to enrich his family. Then as President, Joe Biden and the Biden-Harris Administration obstructed the House of Representatives' impeachment inquiry and the criminal investigation of President Biden's son."
Democrats had Biden speak on Day one of their conventions after First Lady Jill Biden and former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton. The speakers and festivities ran over so Joe Biden's speech was pushed well outside of prime time TV. Biden did not start speaking until 11:30 p.m. eastern time and did not finish until 12:18 a.m. – well after everyone on the east coast had gone to bed. Following his farewell to the party that he served for six decades as President, vice president, and senator, Biden flew to California for another vacation.
Even if the House impeaches Biden, it is unlikely that the Democratic controlled Senate will seriously consider any charges against the Democratic incumbent.
Biden will continue to serve as President until his term ends in January.
