Tuberville says that Kamala Harris has an "Extreme, socialist, globalist, communist record

On Wednesday, U.S. Senator Tommy Tuberville (R-Alabama) warned that Vice President Kamala Harris is "way more liberal than Joe Biden."

On Sunday, President Joseph R. Biden (D) announced in a news release that he was dropping out of the 2024 election for President. He then endorsed Vice President Kamala Harris in a post on the X social media platform.

"This past weekend President Biden finally admitted that President Trump was right all along - Joe Biden was never mentally fit to be President," Sen. Tuberville told members of the Alabama press in a press call. "Republicans, like myself, have been sounding the alarm for three and a half years about Biden's declining cognitive health."

Sen. Tuberville suggested that Vice President Harris had been part of a coverup to conceal the severity of Biden's alleged cognitive decline.

"Make no mistake the media and the deep state orchestrated this massive, massive coverup," Tuberville said. "Kamala Harris has been the main spokesperson lying to the American people about Joe Biden's state of health."

Tuberville said that Harris supports an "extreme" agenda.

"Democrats are now racing to pull off a new coverup. This time it is to hide Kamala Harris's extreme, socialist, globalist, communist record," Tuberville told reporters. "Believe it or not, Kamala Harris is way more liberal than Joe Biden. In 2019 Kamala Harris was rated as the most liberal members of the Senate. Kamala is an anti-police and anti-secure the border."

President Biden had announced early in his term that Harris would be the lead person on the border.

"She has done a really bang-up job as border czar, letting more than ten million illegal aliens invade the country under her watch," stated Tuberville. "She wants to abolish ICE, the agency that arrests and deports rapists and murderers. Harris even said the border is secure just days after Laken Riley's killer illegally crossed the border."

Republicans are also making the case that Harris would be soft on crime.

"Kamala Harris supports the defund the police movement and said we need to reimagine public safety," said Tuberville. "She even applauded the Los Angeles Mayor for slashing police funding by $150 million. She has defended the Hamas terrorists while refusing to pay respects to Israel's Prime Minister Netanyahu who is in town today."

Tuberville is a supporter of former President Donald J. Trump (R) and he expressed optimism that Trump would defeat Harris in the general election.

"Republicans are more united than ever; and we are ready to hold Kamala Harris accountable for her failures," said Tuberville. "A vote for Kamala Harris is a vote to continue the same disastrous policies that have brought us crushing inflation, wide open borders and surging crime. I believe Americans will see through this smokescreen and make the right choice in November."

Harris still has to pick her running mate. Biden plans to finish out his term, though many have questioned his ability to do the job. Speaker of the House Mike Johnson (R-Louisiana) has called for Biden to resign the presidency.

Tommy Tuberville was elected to the Senate in 2020.
