The people's voice of reason

Ralph needs a forever home

Attention dog lovers. If you need a new best friend you need to meet Ralph. Ralph is seven-months old male of mixed breed heritage, possibly some Labrador retriever. He weighs about 40 lbs. He and his siblings, were found dumped in the woods and luckily were brought to the Elmore County Animal shelter. He is a fun pup, great with other dogs, tail wags a mile a minute, just looking for a family to call his own.

The Elmore County Humane Society adoption fees are just $100 for dogs and $50 for cats under one-year-old. Cats over one-year-old can be adopted by approved adopters for a fee of their choosing. This adoption fee completely covers the mandatory spay or neuter, basic immunizations, de-worming, microchip, heartworm check for dogs, rabies vaccination if old enough, free health exam with your participating veterinarian.

If you are interested in meeting Ralph or any of the many fine Elmore County pets, the first step is to fill out the Elmore County adoption Application:

Once approved, they will coordinate with you to set up an appointment to meet & adopt.
