"We are proud to endorse Caroleene Dobson for Congress in Alabama's 2nd Congressional District," said Chairman Austin. "Caroleene understands the value of hard work and the challenges currently facing hardworking American families. We trust that she will stand strong on our values of strong national security, fiscal responsibility and limited government in Congress."
"Maggie's List does critical work in helping to elect fiscally conservative women to federal office across the country, and I am honored to receive their endorsement for my campaign for Congress," said Dobson. "I will fight for our families, our farms, and our faith to ensure that the values of Alabama are represented and protected. It's time to stop the invasion at our southern border, fix the economy, and restore accountability in Washington."

Dobson grew up on her family's fifth-generation cattle farm in Beatrice, Alabama where she learned the meaning of hard work and developed a firsthand understanding of the challenges faced by hardworking families and entrepreneurs.
Dobson was a National Merit finalist and a U.S. Presidential Scholar as well as excelling in rodeo. She has a bachelor's degree in history and literature from Harvard, where she was an active member of the Harvard Republican Club. The winner of the GOP runoff will face the winner of the Democratic party runoff in the general election on November 5. On the Democratic side, former Deputy Attorney General Shomari Figures faces Alabama House Minority Leader Anthony Daniels (D-Huntsville).
