The people's voice of reason

"Keep Going!"

What if I told you that you are probably missing a very important lesson from one of the most famous stories on the Bible? We have all know the story of Noah, who God told to build an ark to save the world from a global flood.

“Make yourself an ark of gopher wood. Make rooms in the ark and cover it inside and out with pitch.” Genesis 6:14

But do you know how long it took Noah to build the ark? It wasn’t a few days, weeks, months, or even a few years. Most biblical historians estimate that it took Noah between fifty and eighty years to build the five-hundred-foot-long boat.

Just think about that! God gave Noah a vision and a purpose that wasn’t fulfilled for over five decades. And you know that during that time, people questioned what he was doing. They questioned if he had heard God right or if it was worth it to continue. And I bet Noah, himself, had second thoughts throughout that time.

Now, think about your own life. God has given each of us a purpose. And like Noah, sometimes the purpose is not fulfilled overnight. And there will probably be people in our life who will question what we are doing because God didn’t give the vision to them. He gave it to you.

So, I encourage you that throughout the questioning and doubts to keep going. To keep trusting that vision and purpose that God instilled in you. Because one day, like Noah, that plan will come to fruition, exactly as God said. So, keep going!

Many Blessings!
