Courtney Ward’Basketball Camp
The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office is proud of their own. Courtney Ward is not only a Deputy with the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office, she is also the head coach of the girls’ basketball team at Sidney Lanier High School. She gained experience from playing basketball during high school at Jefferson Davis High School and during her college years at Florida State University. Deputy Ward has been named 2016 ACC Women’s Basketball Legend. As a former Florida State Women’s Basketball point guard, Courtney has been named FSU’s representative for the 12th annual ACC Women’s Basketball Legends Class.
Deputy Ward will be hosting a Basketball Camp this summer at Sidney Lanier High School, June 6th – 10th for boys and girls ages 4 – 14 from 8:30 am – 3:30 pm. The cost is $50.00 for ages 4-8 and $65.00 for ages 9–14. We know that parents are looking for good programs for their children during the summer months and we would like for them to take advantage of a great basketball tutorial program. This will not only help keep the children occupied but will also give them the knowledge and skills of basketball which will be a great asset for the community.
Thank you for your continued support of the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office and our staff!
