On Saturday, Navy defeated UAB in Birmingham 41 to 18. It was UAB's first American Athletic Conference game. UAB's defense simply could not stop Navy on the ground or in the air as the Midshipmen ran the ball for 227 yards against the Blazers on 42 carries averaging 5.4 yards per rush.
